The very first storybook Seher consisting of 12 different stories was published on September 16, 2017 and 230 thousand copies were published in Turkish. The storybook was translated into Kurmanji and Sorani dialects of Kurdish and into Italian, Dutch,
Greek, German, English, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, French and Indonesian. PEN International has awarded the ‘’PEN Translates’’ award to the storybook of Seher and it has been awarded Montluc Resistance and Liberty award in France.
On April 12, 2019 his second storybook Devran consisting of 14 different stories was released and 205 thousand copies were published in Turkish. The storybook was translated into Kurmanji and Sorani dialects of Kurdish and into French, German and Arabic.
On January 22, 2020 the very first novel of his Leylan was released. Demirtas penned Leylan as a multi-layered book and 150 thousand copies were published. It is now being translated into several languages.
He has some other published stories and satirical writings in different magazines and newspapers alongside with his storybooks and the novel.
The songs written and composed by him were performed by different artists. He performed an intro of one of his songs during a call.
More than 100 of his cartoons were published on LeMan magazine, one of the most popular cartoon magazines of Turkey.
Apart from these, he has a huge amount of charcoal drawings and paintings posted on the internet.
